Asbestos Removal
Asbestos Removal Bridgwater, Somerset and the South West
Asbestos was banned in 1999, so if you bought or remodelled your home prior to then, your property might contain asbestos-containing materials.
We believe in promoting professionalism and safety across the asbestos removal industry.
Asbestos is a mineral fibre, which can only be positively identified using a specific type of microscope.
Asbestos was added to many different products to make it stronger and to provide thermal insulation and fire resistance.
From studies of people who were exposed to asbestos in factories and shipyards, we know that breathing high concentrations of asbestos fibres may increase the risk of:
Lung Cancer: Mesothelioma, a cancer of the lining of the lungs and the abdominal cavity; and Asbestosis, in which the lungs are scarred with fibrous tissue.
Certain products sold today do not even contain asbestos. Due to the asbestos that is found in a small number of today’s products, those few products which do still have asbestos are required to be labelled as such. However, from the 1950s to the 1970s, many homes used building products and insulation materials that contained asbestos.
We work with a licensed asbestos disposal company to ensure a safe removal of any friable asbestos in your home that you may require asbestos removal.
Contact Central Roofing South West today for the safe removal of Asbestos from your property.

Customer Testimonials
A company that lives up to what they promise throughout...
“This company fitted a solid roof to our conservatory as it was too hot in the summer and too noisy and cold in the winter. We were so impressed with the teamwork and workmanship of Rodney’s team from start to finish. Finally, a company that lives up to what they promise throughout. Recommend this company to anyone.”
